The Lynda Joyce Foundation was founded with a mission to transform lives by providing quality education and opportunities for children, particularly in Africa. Our goal is to build 500 schools in the next 10 years, offering scholarships and resources to children in need. We are a self-funded organization committed to empowering communities through education, mentorship, and support programs.
Our foundation is named after Lynda Joyce Woodman, the beloved mother of our founder. Lynda’s legacy was her unwavering faith, boundless love, and selfless care for her family and children. She and her husband Larry raised five biological children, three adopted children, and over forty foster children, many of whom had specialized medical and mental health needs. Her compassion and dedication to nurturing others continue to inspire our work today.
We believe that education is the foundation for a better future. By building schools, providing scholarships, and creating mentorship programs, we are breaking the cycle of poverty and giving children the chance to thrive.
